The variety belongs to the winter wheat type. Grain quality studies show high sedimentation rates with intermediate protein content, which allows the crop to be used in baking.

The plant possesses resistance to low temperatures. Genetically, the variety is a carrier of the short-stemmed gene Rht-B1, due to which it is used in scientific studies of the adaptive properties of cereal crops.
