The variety «GK Malmos» was bred by the Cereal Research Non-Profit Company in the city of Szeged. The plant belongs to the species Triticum aestivum and is intended for agricultural use.

During phytopathological studies, genetic resistance of the variety to certain types of rust was identified, confirmed by the presence of the Lr3 gene. Baking property tests were also conducted, which included the evaluation of grain hardness and dough characteristics.
