The variety Harry is an awned wheat with white glumes, visually resembling the variety Alliance. The plant has a moderately open and upright canopy; the flag leaf is upright and twisted.
Baking properties of the variety are rated as acceptable, however, in a number of parameters such as flour yield and loaf volume, it is inferior to the variety Arapahoe. Under field conditions, the variety demonstrates moderate resistance to Fusarium head blight.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
