The plant is 70–95 cm tall with a semi-erect habit. The spike is cylindrical, white, of medium density, 7–9 cm long, with white serrated awns 6–7 cm long. The grain is red, ovoid, and large; the thousand kernel weight is 40–47 grams.
The growing season of the variety ranges from 203 to 238 days. The variety is resistant to lodging, possesses high winter hardiness and drought tolerance. It is moderately resistant to powdery mildew and leaf rust, moderately susceptible to yellow rust, Fusarium head blight, and viruses, and susceptible to septoria.
