The variety belongs to winter forms of soft wheat. In European breeding practice, it is often used as a reference sample when conducting physiological studies.

The variety has passed production trials and is included in grain quality reports, which confirms its use in the food sector. The variety has also been deeply studied in the context of genetic resistance to the yellow rust pathogen Puccinia striiformis.
