Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was obtained by crossing Cougar and KWS Rowan. The plant is characterized by short stems, with a height of approximately 83 cm. The variety possesses high flexibility in choosing sowing dates, maintaining yield potential with late sowing until February.

The plant has high resistance to lodging and orange wheat blossom midge, as well as a good package of disease resistance, including high resistance to Septoria tritici blotch. Resistance to powdery mildew, yellow rust, and brown rust is rated as moderate.

The grain is characterized by high falling number values and a specific weight of 75.6–76.1 kg/hl. The technological properties of the dough provide a balance between resistance and extensibility, which is in demand in the confectionery industry.
