Lambro is a durum wheat variety. It was developed during breeding work using Triticum dicoccum and Triticum turgidum species, which is reflected in its genetic composition.

The variety possesses high yield and pronounced winter hardiness, however, it has not gained widespread use in commercial crops. Due to its genetic features inherited from ancient wheat forms, the variety is of value for breeding research.
