The variety was obtained as a result of the Sejet Planteforædling breeding program from a cross between the Sleipner and Rendezvous varieties. The plant has a very short stem, which ensures high lodging resistance.
During the testing period, the variety demonstrated high yield. It is characterized by absence of or low susceptibility to yellow rust with high susceptibility to fungal ear diseases.
