The variety was developed at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Zagreb. The pedigree of the variety traces back to the combination of Skopljanka and St 563.
By development type, the variety belongs to winter crops. In scientific publications, it was used to conduct experiments on callus induction and plant regeneration in vitro, as well as in studies on the effect of germination temperature on seed dormancy.
