The common spring wheat variety Molera (registration number K-66033 in the VIR catalog) is a Swiss-bred sample. In scientific literature, it is classified as a genetic resource used primarily for breeding work to increase protein content and develop immunity to pathogens.
During testing, high grain quality was recorded: protein content was 16.5%, gluten content was 36.9%. The variety has demonstrated resistance to Septoria.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
