The variety possesses partial resistance to the wheat dwarf virus, manifested by weak development of infection symptoms, lower accumulation of viral DNA, and low infection rates. The variety also carries resistance genes to leaf rust and stem rust.

Under field conditions, the variety is classified as drought-tolerant. The presence of the 1AL.1RS translocation may influence the baking quality parameters of the flour.

The variety is actively used in breeding programs as a valuable source of resistance to the wheat dwarf virus.
