The variety is a winter type and is often used as a model object in physiological studies, in particular when studying frost hardiness. The variety contains the 1BL.1RS translocation, thousand kernel weight is about 43.40 g.

In field trials, the variety demonstrates resistance to leaf rust and powdery mildew. The grain is characterized by an increased content of protein and gluten.
