The winter soft wheat variety Mv Csárdás is a product of the breeding program of the Agricultural Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Martonvásár. The variety is widely used in genetic research and breeding for improving grain quality indicators.

In scientific experiments, the variety is used as a source of genetic material for evaluating parameters such as protein content, sedimentation, and thousand kernel weight under various agro-climatic conditions.
