The variety is a winter wheat bred at the Agricultural Research Centre in Martonvásár. It belongs to food-grade varieties and possesses good baking characteristics, confirmed by the analysis of the composition of high-molecular-weight glutenin subunits.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness, comparable to known breeding samples. Due to its genetic characteristics, the variety is used in breeding work as a model object, in particular for studying the mechanisms of dwarfism and resistance to pathogens.
