The variety combines the characteristics of the Solstice and Xi19 varieties. It belongs to group 2 according to the nabim classification and is intended for use in the flour milling industry. The yield of the variety is comparable to that of feed wheats.
The plant has a strong stem, ensuring resistance to lodging. The variety is characterized by good resistance to yellow rust and Fusarium head blight, but shows susceptibility to eyespot.
The flour quality and protein indices of the variety are stable, and the test weight and falling number values are close to those of the Einstein variety. Due to the variability of bread-making properties, the variety is often recommended for use in grist mixtures.
