The variety is spring wheat, obtained by crossing Cadenza and (Palermo × KS91WGC11). Plants reach an average height of 87 cm and mature on average 3 days later than the AC Andrew variety, while demonstrating superior resistance to lodging.

The variety possesses resistance to major races of leaf rust, stem rust, and yellow rust, and exhibits intermediate resistance to Fusarium head blight and leaf spot diseases. At the same time, susceptibility to common bunt and loose smut has been noted. The variety is characterized as high-yielding.
