The variety was obtained by breeders at the Agricultural Institute in Osijek by crossing the varieties Soissons and Osk.6.83/5-91. The plant is characterized by early heading dates and a relatively small stem height, the average value of which is about 67 cm.
In scientific publications, the variety is considered an object for assessing resistance to Fusarium head blight. Genetic analyses show that this genotype possesses unique characteristics and low genetic relatedness to other studied wheat varieties.
