Syngenta Crop Protection AG
10 August 2026
The variety is a tall plant with a height of 110–135 cm, featuring long, awned ears of a white or reddish color. The grains are large, weighing 42–46 mg, and are red in color. The variety is a winter type and matures late, requiring harvest from mid-July to the end of August.
The plant possesses high resistance to low temperatures and is adapted for cultivation at altitudes from 600 to 1400 m above sea level. Due to its significant stem height, the variety has low lodging resistance; however, high tillering capacity allows it to successfully compete with weeds. Yields average up to 2 tons per hectare with minimal nitrogen fertilizer application.
The grain is characterized by a protein content at the level of 13.5–15.5% and the presence of elastic but weak gluten. The product is traditionally used for baking homemade bread and preparing pasta, distinguished by specific organoleptic and antioxidant properties.
