The variety has an average plant height of about 90 cm. It originates from a crossing combination of lines ASTA and ST950-89. The red-colored grain is characterized by a high thousand kernel weight of about 50 g and a test weight in the range of 80–82 kg/hl. The variety exhibits resistance to pre-harvest sprouting in the ear.

The plant has good winter hardiness at an average level. Regarding diseases, the variety is resistant to yellow rust, root system diseases, and Septoria tritici, while exhibiting average field resistance to powdery mildew and moderate susceptibility to leaf and stem rust, as well as Septoria nodorum. The variety also possesses a certain level of resistance to wheat dwarf virus.
