The variety was created by the method of experimental mutagenesis combined with hybridization based on the germplasm of the Expromt variety, which carries the 1AL.1RS wheat-rye translocation. Breeding work was conducted under the leadership of Academician V. V. Morgun.
The plant belongs to the early-maturing group and possesses a high productivity potential. The grain of the variety meets the quality of "strong wheat". The variety is intended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones.
