The variety is a winter form of wheat obtained through breeding work using parent lines Branka, Ilona, BU-29 and Viginta. In agronomic studies, the variety is examined for resistance to Oulema melanopus and the stability of the thousand kernel weight.

The genetic profile of the variety includes a specific composition of high molecular weight glutenin subunits (HMW-GS 2*, 7+9, 5+10), which is used to evaluate the baking properties of the grain.
