The variety was bred by specialists of the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine under the leadership of Academician Volodymyr Vasylovych Morgun. It belongs to high-yielding varieties intended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine.
Under production conditions during seed material propagation, the variety demonstrated a yield at the level of 84.4 c/ha. The grain is characterized by high quality.
