The variety was obtained by the method of triple individual selection from the hybrid population Ersp.420k1 / Donskaya polukarlikovaya. The vegetation period is 216–288 days; ripening occurs 5–6 days earlier than the Yuna variety. Plant height reaches 80 cm; the variety is distinguished by high lodging resistance.
The plant possesses increased winter hardiness and high drought tolerance. The variety is highly resistant to loose smut, yellow rust, and powdery mildew, and possesses field resistance to brown rust and stem rust. It is susceptible to common bunt and is moderately affected by Fusarium head blight.
Belongs to the "strong" wheat category. Protein content in grain is 14.6–15.5%, gluten content is 29.2–31.0%. Flour strength reaches 395 a.u., baking properties are assessed as excellent, and bread volume from 100 g of flour is 1210 ml.
