The variety is a winter form of hulled wheat, requiring dehulling after threshing due to tightly adhering glumes. It is characterized by late heading and the presence of tenacious awns, which requires adherence to harvesting schedules to ensure high-quality threshing.

The plant possesses pronounced winter hardiness and high resistance to common bunt, powdery mildew, as well as leaf and yellow rust. Yield ranges from 12 to 44.1 c/ha depending on growing conditions and soil composition.

The grain of the variety contains an increased amount of carotenoids, which give it a golden-yellow hue, and tocopherol. The produce is suitable for use in the baking and pasta industry, as well as for the production of cookies, waffles, crackers, bulgur, and couscous.
