Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is tall, reaching 100–120 cm in height. It is characterized by good resistance to lodging and major fungal diseases, including Fusarium. Grain productivity varies between 15–25 c/ha, and the recommended seeding rate is 150 kg/ha.

Physical grain properties include a thousand kernel weight of 25–30 g, a test weight of 75–78 kg/hl, and a super-soft endosperm texture. Protein content is 16–20% on a dry matter basis with a low gluten index (10–15).

The variety is suitable for bread making, pasta production, and malting. The variety is being studied in the context of the anti-inflammatory properties of einkorn proteins and their potential for individuals with gluten intolerance.
