The variety is late-maturing and belongs to hulled wheats, which requires additional de-hulling after harvest. It possesses resistance to a number of fungal diseases and is characterized by average yield.

The plant is drought-tolerant and effectively suppresses weeds in the field. The variety is prone to lodging if over-mature, in connection with which the ears become brittle, and the produce is used in baking, pasta production, and brewing.
