The variety is characterized by high grain bulk density and a starch content in the range of 54.3–55.6%, which is close to the indicators of traditional spelt populations. The average thousand kernel weight is about 40.1 g. The variety has good protein content indicators, typical for this cereal species.

For research purposes, the variety is used as a source of resistance genes to rust and powdery mildew for durum wheat breeding. It is adapted for cultivation in low-input and organic farming conditions.
