The variety is classified as winter, although it is mentioned in the context of spring forms in a number of trials. In field conditions, the variety demonstrates a yield of about 55 c/ha and is prone to lodging.

The grain is distinguished by an increased concentration of selenium and antioxidant activity. The rheological properties of the dough are characterized by relatively low stability, which requires a specific approach when used in baking.

Farvento is intended for cultivation in organic and low-input farming systems. The main purpose of the variety is processing in the food industry to create pasta, bread, cookies, beer, as well as use in the functional nutrition segment.
