Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a complex interspecific hybrid derived from the species Ulmus glabra, Ulmus minor, and Ulmus wallichiana. The tree reaches a height of 12 to 20 meters with a crown width of 3–6 meters, maintaining a narrow columnar shape throughout its life.

The leaves are small, glossy, dark green in color with a corrugated texture, turning yellow in autumn. The bark of young trees is smooth and light gray, becoming dark gray and furrowed with age.

The plant is fast-growing, prefers fertile, well-drained, and moderately moist soils, and withstands wind loads. To maintain varietal resistance to diseases, cultivation on its own roots is recommended.
