The tree has a rounded crown, the width of which is about 70% of the height. The trunk can be straight or slightly curved. The leaves are dark green, elliptical or oval, smooth on both sides, reaching 6.5 cm in length and 3 cm in width. Autumn coloration is weakly expressed; foliage remains until November.
Flowering occurs in March; rounded samaras with a diameter of 17–22 mm are formed with low seed vitality. The variety grows rapidly and propagates well by cuttings. On very fertile soils, excessive growth to the detriment of stability is possible; development is more restrained on calcareous soils.
The variety is intended for urban landscaping, avenues, and roadside plantings. In artificial inoculation tests, it showed high resistance to Ophiostoma novo-ulmi. No serious wind damage has been recorded.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
