The variety was developed within the framework of an Italian breeding program for the restoration of elm populations. The plant possesses high resistance to the pathogen Ophiostoma novo-ulmi, which causes Dutch elm disease.
The tree is distinguished by a fast growth rate and high adaptability to various climatic conditions. It possesses tolerance to summer drought and winter flooding, as well as ornamental qualities, which makes it suitable for landscape gardening and land restoration.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
