Variety description

The variety was obtained as a result of breeding the 'Plantyn' hybrid clone and a specimen of Siberian elm. In its youth, the tree has a narrow pyramidal crown shape with strong apical dominance, which becomes ovoid or rounded with age, reaching a width of 4–8 meters. The height of an adult tree can reach up to 25 meters.

The leaves are large, oval or broadly elliptical in shape with an asymmetric base, and retain their bright green color until late autumn. The trunk is long and straight, and the bark on old trees is gray-green with grooves. The variety is characterized by high resistance to the Dutch elm disease Ophiostoma novo-ulmi.

The plant is distinguished by rapid growth on fertile soils, but poorly tolerates waterlogged and heavy substrates. During intense growth, it requires formative pruning to maintain crown balance and root system development. It is used in urban landscaping and for creating avenues.
