The variety was obtained through selection from seedlings grown from seeds collected in the Swedish province of Småland. The plant is vigorous, with upright shoots, and demonstrates high winter hardiness and relative resistance to fungal diseases.

The variety belongs to the group of plants with a single harvest, with the crop ripening mainly in late July – early August. The berries are medium-sized, smaller than those of the «Ida» variety, but possess good keeping quality, which makes them suitable for long-term storage.
