The variety is the result of interspecific hybridization and is classified as a highbush blueberry hybrid or half-high blueberry. The genetic origin of the variety includes the cross (Vaccinium uliginosum × «Rancocas») × «Bluecrop».

The plants reach a height of approximately 1.5 meters and form a dense, compact bush. The variety possesses high winter hardiness, which allows for its use in severe climate conditions, as well as for cultivation in containers.

The berries have a sweet taste and are aromatic; their size is approximately 1–1.5 cm. The variety is distinguished by high productivity, and the content of anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins in the fruits exceeds the values of the «North Blue» variety.
