Bush height 0.9–1.5 meters, compact, wide and squat, with strong upright shoots of gray-brown color. Leaves are glossy, elongated-oval, changing color from bright green in spring to burgundy-purple in autumn. Flowers are small, white, bell-shaped.

Fruit ripening begins in the first or second ten-day period of July. Yield is 4.5–10 kg per bush. Berries are dark blue with a waxy bloom, spherical, 12–15 mm in diameter and weighing about 2.5 g, with a sweet and sour taste. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness down to –30…–33°C and resistance to diseases.
