The variety forms a dense medium-sized rosette with short-oval smooth leaves of dark green color. The apical part of the leaf is flat in longitudinal section, petioles are long.

The period to full maturity is about 45 days. The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew and excellent winter hardiness, allowing it to overwinter in open field without snow cover.

The variety is versatile, suitable for amateur and professional cultivation in open field, cold greenhouses, or for harvesting in the baby-leaf stage. The produce has a distinct nutty flavor.
