The variety is a vigorous rootstock with a growing period that promotes delayed ripening of grafted varieties. The bushes are spreading, form a large number of lateral shoots, and shoot length can reach 3.5–4 meters. The rootstock possesses a powerful, deep-penetrating root system.
Leaves are small or medium-sized, reniform, entire, dark green in color, leathery, and shiny. Young shoots have a purple-red coloration; matured ones are light brown with a dark intermittent pattern. The flower is functionally male; it does not form bunches.
The variety exhibits high resistance to root phylloxera, fungal diseases, drought, high lime concentrations, and spring waterlogging. It possesses good compatibility with most scions, stimulating their development.
