The variety was bred within the framework of the French breeding program INRAE-ResDur and belongs to the second generation of ResDur varieties. It is a wine grape variety intended for winemaking, possessing genetically embedded resistance to major fungal diseases.

The plant contains specific resistance loci, including Run1, Ren3, Ren9, Rpv1, Rpv10, as well as black rot resistance loci Rgb1 and Rgb3. The variety is characterized by good yield potential and is suitable for the production of quality wines.
