The variety has a hermaphroditic flower and medium or small-sized leaves, wedge-shaped or rounded. Clusters are of medium size, conical or cylindro-conical in shape, varying from medium density to dense. Berries are medium-sized, rounded, white or yellow-green in color with a golden hue and a thin waxy bloom.

Belongs to mid-late varieties, ripening in September–October. Characterized by good drought tolerance, but weak resistance to fungal diseases, especially rot under high humidity and downy mildew. Yield is moderate; historically, the variety requires staking to supports.

Used to produce white wines, which are often single-varietal. Wines have a straw-yellow color with greenish highlights and a flavor-aromatic profile including notes of citrus, apple, pear, peach, floral and mineral nuances.
