Variety description

The variety is a wine-making culture. The vine has an upright habit and moderate vigor, which facilitates training and tying. The variety matures in mid-season, with bud burst occurring approximately one week before the Chasselas variety.

The plant shows relatively high resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and grey mold, and is drought tolerant, although it is sensitive to wood diseases. Productivity is medium and more consistent than that of the Fer Servadou variety.

Clusters are moderately compact and medium in size. Berries are small or medium, round, and prone to shriveling when overripe. Wines are characterized by balance, good color, and pronounced fruit aromas.
