The Ferradou N variety is a technical (wine) grape variety. The letter “N” in the name indicates the black color of the berries. The variety was obtained as a result of hybridization of Merlot and Fer Servadou varieties.

The plant is described as a hardy variety possessing good resistance to water stress and high tolerance to fungal diseases. The variety has high technological potential for wine production.
