Variety description

The variety is a clone of Müller-Thurgau. The vines have medium vigor. The leaves are small or medium, five-lobed, moderately blistered, with a closed petiole sinus. The bunches are of medium size and moderate density, the berries are round, yellow-green in color.

The variety ripens 10–14 days earlier than Müller-Thurgau. Yields are typically one-third lower than the original variety, however, sugar levels are 15 degrees Oechsle higher. The plant is characterized by medium winter hardiness and moderate susceptibility to powdery mildew, downy mildew, and gray mold.

The grapes are used for the production of light, neutral wines prone to rapid aging, as well as for making juices and creating Federweisser type wine. Due to medium-late bud burst, the variety suffers less from late spring frosts.
