The variety was bred at the Miniș Viticulture and Enology Research Station in Romania. The growing season of the plant is 170–175 days, with full berry maturity occurring at the end of August or the first half of September.

The plant has medium vigor and good fertility, with 60–80% of the shoots being fruit-bearing. The variety demonstrates medium resistance to downy mildew, gray mold, frost, and drought, while being distinguished by good resistance to powdery mildew.

The primary purpose of the variety is for fresh consumption, although it can also be used as a multipurpose table-wine variety.
