The variety belongs to the PIWI group and was bred as a result of crossing Ehrenbreitsteiner and Fr 52-64. The plant has strong, upright growth, good winter hardiness, and an early to medium flowering period.

The bunches are large and loose, which ensures high resistance to Botrytis cinerea. The berries are round, greenish-yellow in color, and capable of accumulating a high level of sugar in the must. Requires preventive treatments against downy mildew in unfavorable conditions.

A technical variety used for the production of wines with a pronounced aroma of rose, quince, and citrus, with an acidity structure similar to the Riesling variety.
