The variety has a perfect flower type. Clusters are medium-sized, often dense; berries are medium-sized, greenish-yellow with a light waxy bloom. The plant is characterized by an upright growth habit of shoots, which allows for short pruning. The variety is high-yielding and productive, with yields ranging from 100–130 c/ha.

The variety is characterized by high sensitivity to unfavorable conditions. It is susceptible to Botrytis cinerea, black rot, downy mildew, wood diseases, and mite infestations. Due to early bud break, the grape is sensitive to spring frosts; the variety also reacts poorly to grafting onto certain American rootstocks.

Wines from this variety possess high acidity, low alcohol content, and a fresh fruity profile with notes of apple, lemon, and pear. Due to its neutral aromatic profile and high acidity level, the variety is ideal for distillation.
