The variety was obtained by crossing Sirius and Vidal Blanc. It belongs to the PIWI category, which implies high resistance to fungal diseases, particularly powdery mildew, and medium resistance to downy mildew, as well as resistance to black rot. Ripening periods are comparable to the Müller-Thurgau variety.

The purpose of the variety is as a white wine grape; however, due to its large golden-yellow berries, it can be used as a table or ornamental grape. The clusters have a loose structure, which increases resistance to grey mold. The yield is characterized as relatively high.

Wine from this variety possesses harmonious acidity and a bouquet with floral and muscat tones. In favorable years, the wines reach the quality of Spätlese and Auslese categories.
