Variety description

The variety was obtained by X-ray exposure of seeds of the variety «Coarnă neagră». The vegetation period is 165–172 days; full berry ripening occurs after August 20.
Bunches are cylindro-conical in shape with an average weight of 275–320 g, medium density, often winged. Berries weighing about 4 g have an elliptical shape and blue-violet skin color. The pulp is semi-crisp, the taste is simple, and the sugar content reaches 150 g/l.
Vines are characterized by medium or high vigor. The percentage of fruitful shoots is about 64.6%, and yield reaches 20 tons per hectare. The variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of the Iași region, Romania.
