The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work in Italy. The plant forms loose bunches with elliptical dark blue berries.
The variety possesses good resistance to Botrytis cinerea, which allows for a reduction in the number of chemical treatments. The grapes are distinguished by good productivity and are suitable for late harvest technologies.
This variety is used to produce wine with a pronounced body, a balanced sugar-to-acidity ratio, containing soft tannins and aromas of fruits, flowers, and spices.
