Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Elbling and Muscat Précoce de Saumur varieties. The vines are vigorous and can reach 200–300 cm. The leaves are quite large, and the tips of young shoots are heavily pubescent. The grape clusters are relatively large and vary in density from loose to compact.

The berries are yellow-green, aromatic, and medium to large in size. The variety is prone to parthenocarpy, which results in the formation of small berries with a higher concentration of sugar. The variety is sensitive to winter and spring frosts, does not tolerate soils with high lime content well, and is susceptible to fungal diseases, including downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold.

When yields are restricted, the variety allows for the creation of dessert wines with aging potential. The wines are characterized by good acidity and notes of mango, passion fruit, pineapple, and citrus.
