The variety has the synonyms Blanca de Cabanelas and Cajarrento. Its clusters are compact, cylindrical in shape with a characteristic wing, containing more than 200 berries. The spherical or elliptical berries have a yellow-green color and colorless, juicy and soft flesh without a pronounced specific aroma. The adult leaf has a pentagonal shape with three lobes.

The variety is a wine grape and is authorized for use in wines with the Protected Designation of Origin Rías Baixas and the Geographical Indication Barbanza e Iria. The vine is considered to have potential resistance to drought and downy mildew. The yield of old vines is low, and the cultivation process requires special care.
